Morning, all! I'm making a cake in a couple of days, and the birthday girl decided she wants cream cheese frosting, but she despises shortening. I need to be able to smooth the cake and attach fondant and cake lace pieces to it, so I need a sturdy crusting recipe. Does such a recipe exist without shortening?  Thank so much!!
