Hello, this is my first time here and I am really hoping  that someone can help me.  When it comes to cake decorating I'm a total beginner.  I LOVE everything about it though!  I've just started to make MMF and although it tasted delicious, i don't know what I did wrong.  A day after I made it, it was very sticky and impossible to handle.  I tried adding more powdered sugar, crisco, cornstarch, corn syrup and even warming it up in the microwave to no avail. It was so bad it just tore and drooped, or melted off the cake I had covered in ganache.  Can anyone please help?  I would really appreciate it!  Thanks in advance.

Impossible to handle in which way exactly and what recipe were you using? Mmf becomes quite hard if you let it rest and it's a must to reheat it in the microwave for like 10 secs intervals before working with it. But if it was sticky and soft BEFORE you heated it there might be something wrong with the recipe you use.
