Hi, I am about to start experimenting with fondant, i was checking on Sharon's Zambito video and she does not recommend to use mmf fondant to cover a cake as she says elasticity is not good for that purpose.

what do you think? Do you use homemade mmf to cover your cakes without any issue?

Thanks in advance.

I love mmf! I used to make it a lot as I prefer the taste over homemade regular fondant (somehow less sweet and less time consuming). Never had any issue with it! Don't know the video you're talking about...but you'll always find 100 complete different opinions about the same thing. Just make a small batch and test it yourself.

I use Jessica Harris's marshmallow fondant recipe that I found on Craftsy.  I absolutely LOVE it for covering cakes - All photos in my gallery were decorated with her fondant.  I find it to be easier to work and achieve a better finish vs. using store bought fondant.
