Hi all,

I am making the wedding cake and cake pops for my cousins wedding soon and just wanted some advice on what I should make first!! I'm doing 40 cake pops and a 3 tier cake, tier 1 is fruit, 2 is chocolate and 3 is vanilla!! So would it be better to make the cake a little earlier so I have time to make the cake pops the day before or the other way round? I just don't want to get to the day before and be overwhelmed with having to much left last minute?! Any advice would be great!! Tia :)

You'll probably be making the cake pops from the leftover cake after your chocolate and vanilla cakes are leveled.  So, cakes first.

You can bake the cakes two - three weeks ahead and freeze them.  You can make the cake pops a week ahead.
