Hello

My client wants

this design of gold henna of orange colored cake  https://www.pinterest.com/pin/19632948345693937/

on

This drape/saree on cake design https://www.pinterest.com/pin/570127634053039863/

If I use royal icing it'll get harder & I cannot drape it. & if I use lace tech, I don't know how to make it in old color.. Also will it stay good flexible if made in advance?

Also where  can I get stencil for this design (on orange cake)??

Please help..

TIA

for the henna design -- it's pretty straight forward -- it's a paisley and some teardrop shapes -- just cut out some templates -- they might be graduated in size per tier i don't remember from looking at it but that part is easy then just fill in with the design --

i can see that that might be overwhelming if you haven't tried it before but just look at it one step at a time -- trace your template/s to make the larger shapes then fill in the design and outline -- bam -- you got it --

the drape and the baubles are a different story -- it looks like real strands of unedible jewelry or candy -- plus some brooches --

best to you

For the henna design, there's this tutorial posted on CC a while back:

"the drape and the baubles are a different story -- it looks like real strands of unedible jewelry or candy -- plus some brooches"

because if you look where the fondant has a little ribble the eye candy does not flow in & out with it -- it crosses over so it's on it's own string -- see what i mean -- and that's actually a good idea because you don't want anyone eating a random unedible bauble -- like a wide eyed kid -- that kind of decor can be a handful when it comes to safety --
