I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Leah means that she never uses it. I bet she uses her hands instead (that's what I use!) :)

I use mine all the time. I've had cakes that didn't turn out that great that I turned into great cakeballs.

I've never heard of this, I have the roller thingy but I don't see how it's a plus in cake pop making. I still have to fish the cake pop out of the round parts unless I'm doing it wrong? Now, I use Leah's method!
