Hello all,

I just wanted to know if anyone on here had any experience in baking a "Funfetti" cake with sprinkles available in the UK? I have attempted this recipe this several times but unfortunately the colours didn't come through - I assume this may be due to legislation on artificial food colourings? I have tried with both Sainsbury's and Dr Oetker sprinkles ( The long strands) but neither worked!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)

 Thanks

Yes! After trying a few different methods I now use a pt of the Dr Oetker Polka Dot sprinkles. Once you've added them make sure you don't over stir otherwise the colour bleeds! You have about a minute or so in my experience... here is a photo of the product, I get mine from Sainsburies :) xx
