AThis is the second time I've tried to make this shell. The first time I made one it was perfect and simple, so of course this is last minute :-( Last time I didn't use Wilton melts either, so....

It may not be the melts. t looks to me as though it was not 100% ready and some areas of the surface were still sticking to the mold when you removed it. I've used Wilton and non-Wilton candy And I've seen this happen when I get to anxious and try to unmold too soon. The candy may be solid, but it must slip right out.

AThank you for your reply! I remade it and left it overnight. Hoping that when I get home from work tonight it's ready. Eek!

Remember, you don't want to leave it in the freezer or fridge too long, either. That can cause it to crack or "bloom."
