Hi all, im using wiltons premade buttercream for the first time as i needed a real red coloured buttercream for a toolbox.
I crumbcoated in my own buttercream... uncoloured and refrigerated it as i normally would. When i went to put on red buttercream, it was so thick it wouldnt spread.
Any tips? im nervous to touch the red buttercream without advice and end up not being able to use it.
Thin it with a TINY BIT of water. If it is still too thick, add a TINY BIT more. Repeat. Be very careful not to use too much water at one time.
