Anyone out there use the tappit cutter shapes? I've used the letters, and no problem since they're one color. I'm using the Christmas shaped set and want to make the sled different colors, like the picture.  Do you think it's just painted or is there a base of gold and the red parts are placed on top???? Thanks, that's what I was afraid of.  My painting skills, on something small like that are pretty bad. But, I'll give it a try.

me too -- i'm a much better piper than i am a painter -- you could pipe it too -- or use americolor gourmet markers -- don't think they have gold though -- but yellow with a twink of orange would get you there and you could use a barely moistened brush with vodka to 'mix' it on there -- the brush kind of guides you

you can cut the tip of the marker to make it a fine point
