Hi Guys. I was wondering does anyone have a recipe for how to make 'ice cubes' for around a bottle cake? I want them to be clear and i was going to flavour them with vodka. I do not have or want to use isomalt. im know to use gelatine but thats about it

Any help would be great

Thanks everyone

Hi, I know you can do something with boiled sweets like melting them down and breaking into shards like for a Frozen themed cake, so if you have a look for 'ice shards' threads on here hopefully that will point you in the right direction. I'm pretty sure you can get clear boiled sweets, then maybe melt them and pour into an ice cube tray to change the shape. HTH :)
