AI'm making a cake for a hair show and it needs to be a head with curls on it, it's the first time I'll be doing one like this any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

you likely need to make the curls ahead of time out of gumpaste or fondant or modeling chocolate. Wrap them around a small rolling pin to get the curl shape

AThanks so much, I was thinking it would have to be something like that. But wasn't sure, since I am going to make a face or should I say try to make a face out of fondant for the front of the cake. I'm not sure if it will work, but I'm going to try it. Thanks again for your help.
