Hi all, this is my first post, so hi! And apologies if I have posted in the wrong place or set this up wrong (tried to read all the advice first)....

Here's the thing, I have been asked to create a Disney's Frozen themed cake for a colleague's daughter's birthday on Sunday and, although it is half term, I have a lot of work to do so I am trying to work on the cake in stages. The overall cake is going to be the castle set into the snow-capped mountain (*fingers crossed*).

Today I assembled the castle (see below) and it is made from candy clay and I have also used buttercream frosting to stick bits together. I currently have it in the fridge as I am petrified it will melt and sag, but as far as I understand it, this can be stored until needed in an airtight container in a cool place - is this right? Also, will the inclusion of buttercream affect the longevity of the topper's storage-life or should it be ok? I am placing it on the cake on Saturday, ahead of delivery on Sunday.

Any and all advice welcomed and appreciated!
