I'm making a 3 tier (14,12,9) all buttercream wedding cake for tomorrow. I just realized I bought the wrong size plastic STS for the largest tier. I purchased a 14 inch plate instead of a 12 inch, I do have an extra 10 inch plate here at home... this should be ok right?? I also have wooden dowels which I use for all my 2 tier cakes. Should I just use those instead??? Maybe I'm weird, but I always think the plastic plate/hidden pillars hold the larger cakes better :)

let me know if you have any advise!

AI think the 10" plate would work. I love sps also, especially for 3tiers!
