AI am doing my first ganached cake this weekend and it just dawned on me how do I get the dowels through the hard ganache? I use straws. Will that still work?
Yes it will work. The ganache doesn't get so hard where you can't dowel it. The texture is almost like a truffle, if I had to describe it.
