AHi All I really need ur help here

I am making a spider man bust cake, I am in EGYPT and I cant find the wig head for the head, can I use cake instead? Will it fall? How to support it..... Can I use pure fondant and gumpaste bulk instead? How to support it.? Really appreciate ur help here:(

How about a large egg shaped styrofoam/ polystyrene ball? You could glue it onto a wooden cake dowel. I would then screw the wooden dowel onto the cake board from underneath (drill a hole at the bottom of the cake board first. Having never done a bust before I don't know how easy/hard it would be to make the shoulders and neck entirely out of cake, so perhaps you could use rice krispie treats in the areas that are tricky. I'm sure someone with more experience will come and read this thread and give you more info!
