I saw an awesome cake and I'm trying to re create the effect with something similar. The individual wired flowers seem easy enough but I can't quite get my head around how I am going to make the Ivy with the whole vine effect. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

AThat's beautiful! Just get some ivy cutters, florist wire and brown tape

AThat cake was uploaded just a few days ago- why not send the baker a PM and ask, I'm sure they'll be thrilled to know they've inspired you :-)

I've got all of the above but green tape. That is obviously key! My Ivy are ejector which aren't as realistic looking but I think it'd probably come together ok. Good plan I'll PM the baker! :)

They will be more realistic looking if you turn over the ejected leaves, and use a ball tool to soften the edges on a foam pad. Turn them over so you don't rub out the veining on the front.
