AHi Everyone,

I like the way stencils look on cakes especially for intricate patterns. I know Silhoutte has an online store that allows you to purchase stencil designs, which I have used in making stencils for my cakes in the past. However, I would like to turn my own drawings into stencils.

I'm not asking how to create a stencil using the silhoutte cameo. I'm asking if anyone knows how to turn a handmade original design into a file that the Silhoutte can cut out. That way I can create my own stencil designs. I searched google, but I haven't found anything that would help. I know this is a long shot, but I thought I should give it a try anyway.

Thanks,

:-)

AAre you familiar with the trace function?

You can scan the design, save as JPG, open the file in Silhouette, and trace the design so it is now a cuttable image.
