Getting The Right Shad Of Gold

I want to achieve the gold color fondant as shown in the picture below. I have difficulty getting that shade. When I use a gold spray, it has yellow tone to it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I get that shiny gold look by using Gold Highlighter Dust and lemon extract.  I've never had to cover that large an area before...the gold dust is pretty expensive for something that size, but it can be done.  I'd color my fondant a light brown or deep gold first.  It makes the gold richer looking and not so streaky.  Im sure there are others who have ideas too.  Good luck! 

 

Oh...Gold Highlighter dust is really not to be eaten.  You'd have to peel off the fondant.  but it's the best IMO as far as getting the metallic color you want.
