Personally my work have better results with gumpaste, for those little details I prefer it more than the fondant.

 

En lo personal mis trabajos tienen mejores resultados con gumpaste, para esos pequeños detalles lo prefiero mas que el fondant.

Gum paste.  Rolls thinner, dries faster & harder, holds shape & details better.

AThank you! I like gumpaste too! That's what I used for the Phantom mask in my profile pic. I haven't had a request for butterflies before and wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were! Thanks again. (:

You can get Patchwork cutters that have pretty shapes cut out of the butterflies. They're gorgeous!!!
