Hi all, sorry to bother with a most probably stupid question.  I have by mistake bought a tub of gum paste instead of fondant.  I need to cover a gurnsey cake with it.  Should I go and buy fondant or will it be ok covered with the paste?  I was thinking that it may harden too much. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Run on out and get the fondant
