AHi there! I have a friend that has requested the Champagne Colour on her wedding cake. I cannot seem to find a champagne gel Colour anywhere, so I wondering if anyone has a recipe for creating the Colour?

ADepends on what you define as champagne.

To make the Sherwin Williams champagne, I used "copper" & a touch of lemon yellow & a touch of ivory.

You can see the color in my gallery. The champagne & white cake with lace & Bruce embroidery.

Americolors Ivory worked very well for me last winter on a wedding cake.  Bride wanted it matched to her dress.  Add a hint of yellow or light pink to get to the tone you need.

AThank you Soldiernurse.

I normally use Americolor. On that particular cake, I used the Wilton copper & Americolor yellow & ivory.

AI have found a few useful tricks for mixing color.

My husband is in the home improvement industry & owns paint color fans. Once I find the color I want, I can look at the fan to see what the base colors are. Is the bevy fan color more blue or red?

I also use the color chart on Microsoft word. When you go to change shape or font color, you can customize the color. When you select that option, the computer generates the Pantone color range telling you how much of each color to use.
