I have been looking for the recipe for a family favorite cake, lost when a relative passed away. It was referred to as Kentish cake containing Coconut,Ground Almonds, Cocoa and the other usual sponge cake ingredients.

There are recipes for Kentish cake with peanuts and a type of hazelnut.  Substitute almonds for the other nuts.
