I am finishing off a buttercream cake tomorrow morning, with filling, and putting the fondant toppers on top.  When I deliver the cake, what should I tell the customer...Put it in the fridge-she doesn't need the cake til Tuesday, but wanted it delivered early...if I tell her to put it in the fridge, will the fondant toppers soften and fall apart?....or is it best to leave it out, covered of course, on the counter?....The fondant toppers consist of a man, with a cart (he is a gold miner)

Please help!!!

The fondant toppers & cake will be fine in the fridge, put the cake in a box and tell your client to leave it in the fridge and take it out an hour or 30mins beforehand so that it can come to room temperature.
