Hello there, I will be making a cake shortly that I want to use a plastic Martini glass as a topper. The cake will be an 2 tier cake 6 inch and 8 inch. the 6 inch will be covered in buttercream. so I am wondering how to secure the Martini glass in a standing position. I have some thoughts but maybe someone has tried something like this and perhaps may have some tips. thanks so much.

If the stem of the glass has a hole up the middle as some do you can use a lollipop stick inserted into the stem and cake.

Plastic martini glasses tend to not be that heavy. I would just do a dot of buttercream under it to secure it.
