the Marvelous Molds are designed at 2 X pi so that they will go seamlessly around even diameter cakes (i don't know what sorcery that is attributed to, just that i tried it and it's true!) I believe that he talks about that in the video.  THere is a little bit of a learning curve in getting the feel for the right consistency of your fondant, but designs go pretty quick once you have the feel for it.  I really love the ones I have.

AI just saw his tutorials yesterday on those molds and i was so fascinated on how they work. I would really love to hear how they work for you all that ordered them. Please let me know when you try them and what you think. Thank you.

Seeing it from my quilter's perspective, I would use a plain leaf shaped cutter per the cake picture. Might be more time consuming placing the leaves one at a time depending on whether or not the molds turn out to not be as efficient to work with..
