AI'm doing a wedding cake this weekend and the bride wants ruffles. I've been practicing with fondant, but I'm open to any tips/tricks that anyone can share!!!

AForgot to mention that the cake will be buttercream on the outside, not fondant covered.

I rolled out my fondant and cut into strips, then used my fondant roller to roll out a little more. took the edge of it and rolled only one side thin a little at a time.

Here's a tutorial I did..I'd add some gumpaste or some candy clay to the fondant to make it easier to roll out thin. http://acaketorememberva.blogspot.com/2011/11/ruffle-wedding-cake-tutorial.html
