AHi going to make a doll cake for a friends daughter but don't have doll mold any ideas how to do this? Was thinking of cooking my bottom part of giant cup cake and carving a circle in the centre for doll to sit in do you think this would work or can anyone suggest a different way

ASure it will. Be sure to put some kind of metal piece in the middle to act as a heating core. Also, you can use a bowl if it ha the right shape

AI just made one this weekend - I did a 10" bottom with the doll cake on top - the skirt is made from 2 6" rounds carved down and the figure I made from fondant and painted
