Sorry to hear that.  Hope your on the mend.  I know 6weeks seems like forever, but time flies and it will pass quickly. Better to take care of yourself now then have to give it up altogether.  The cakes can wait.

AI know exactly how you feel. I had foot surgery and can't stand so no baking for me. Mine went alittle wrong and I probably have to have more surgery....it really sucks.

Rubbish isnt it? Mine was tummy so I feek fine while im sitting but cant stand for mor than 10 mins bloody annoying.

I hope ur not intoo much pain mate its rubbish being poorly

Mine hurts when I stand on it so no standing and doing cakes for me, not right now. Yes it sucks being injured. Hope you feel better soon.

If you can only sit and really want to play cake, what about setting up around your favourite chair all the gear you need to make sugarpaste flowers and decorations and stock up on these, they keep for ages and if you are like me and need the practice, great opportunity!!!  get well soon.
