I am making a cake and freezing it. On Sunday, I will take it out of the freezer and will travel 5 hours with it in the car.

Do you think the cake will be thawed once we arrive on location?

The cake is made with meringue buttercream and covered in fondant.

I appreciate your help!

It depends upon what temp. your car is and where in the car you place it. How big is it, that's a factor?

A normalish (my new word) non-tiered cake will be defrosted in 5 hours....unless it's huge and thick.
