Help! Ran Out Of Granulated Sugar

Im in the middle of making this recipe

and I ran out of white granulated sugar.....Yikes!!! I thought I had more, but oh no I dont!!!icon_surprised.gif

Can I use brown sugar?  I have plenty of brown sugar on hand. Need advise on this please,   Thank you

It should be just fine, brown sugar will make it a touch moister and give it a hint of a caramel flavour.

I'd go with the brown sugar to make up the difference, but it's not going to taste exactly the same as it would with all white sugar.  It shouldn't make a huge difference in the texture.
