Freezing Buttercream Iced With Fondant Decorations

can I do it?
I've frozen buttercream cake but this will be my first time using fondant. thanks.
You can freeze it with fondant on it...keep it in its packaging as it thaws to avoid condensation. It will probably get a bit sticky....just don't touch it (fingerprints). And I hear a fan in the room after it's thawed and out of the packaging will help getting the fondant back to normal.
If you have embellishments on it that aren't stuck flat to the cake, don't freeze those. That's my opinion and I could be wrong as I have never frozen a decorated cake. Maybe someone else could help with that...
yes i have fondant embellishments like alphabets and a bow. So keep the cake out? How long? Will it stay fresh?
