I'm a start up & looking to showcase my items primarily to event planners,caterers & restaurants.What's the best way to go about this? ie. should I provide entertainment & other hors' devours? Should my business be the only being showcased or should I invite others to help off-set the costs? any info you think may be valuable would be greatly appreciated.TIA!

AI'm assuming you are in the wedding industry? If so check & see if your area has a bridal association. I'm a member of the Charleston Bridal Association. We have 4 events each year. It's a great place to meet planners, venue managers, caterers, etc. if you sponsor an event, you get to showcase your work.
