I'm going over my orders for last year, and was noticing how often certain flavours came up, got me wondering if they were similar all over.
My #1 most ordered is a ginger cake with lemon curd filling and coconut vanilla bean butter cream.
Otherwise it was triple chocolate, (dark chocolate chip cake, milk chocolate butter cream and white chocolate ganache), and plain old vanilla, (vanilla bean sour cream cake with vanilla bean butter cream).
Are most people's most popular just chocolate and vanilla type flavours, or do you get people mainly ordering more unusual flavours?
I'm not asking for recipes or anything, just bored and nosy :)
AWhite chocolate mud cake is my post popular, followed closely by chocolate mud cake (Aussies love mud cake)

Wow! We just don't get flavour combos like that in the UK!!!
We mainly have things vanilla with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream; chocolate with chocolate buttercream; lemon with lemon buttercream; coffee with coffee buttercream (in fairness, coffee & walnut is a popular choice).... (are you sensing a trend here?).
I offer a caramel flavour sponge (with caramel buttercram). I do offer to do caramel buttercream with the choc sponge cake, but not many people go for it!
I also do choc orange sponge which I fill with orange curd and chocolate buttercream.
And just recently, I've managed to perfect raspberry buttercream... so I offer this with vanilla sponge or chocolate sponge. But this is a very recent thing so not had any orders for that yet.
For me it is my Double Shot Mocha, A Double Chocolate Cake with a Double Shot Espresso Buttercream with Chocolate Ganache and My Orange Cranberry Cake, Orange Cake with Fresh Cranberries folded in and Iced with Orange Buttercream
Effing lemon with lemon curd filling and effing chocolate with Oreo filling. Seriously, it seems like that's all I make sometimes!
