Made a two tier Tiffany cake, top cake should of had a box top, I just covered whole cake in fondant. Later I realize this mistake. How would I make a box top that overlaps on the sides of cake?

When I do a box cake I use fondant panels on the sides of the cake to get sharp corners and then a separate piece of fondant put on the top.  It is a piece that is about 3" bigger across centered over the top then pinch the corners to somewhat meter the sides (this gives the box lid a depth of 1.5" all around).

You can place a thick (1 1/2") band around the top of each cake, to give a lid look. See in my photos i should have a cake like that (an easy and simple way) you will have to take yr bow off to do it (assuming the cake picture is the cake u have made)
