Need Help With Cupcake Sculpture!!

Hi Everyone-
I have a wedding coming up and the bride wants her cake to look similar to the wedding cake of the DC Cupcake owner, Katherine.
It looks like square cake dummies with cupcakes "glued" to the side.
Has anyone ever done this before? I figured we'd stick toothpicks in the dummies at an angle and push them on that way.
Does anyone have a better way to secure them?

Yes!! That's the one!
I saw that video but it doesn't show how she does it, it just shows her asking her employees to go with her and build it for her. Bummer icon_smile.gif
