I am making a cake that one of the large characters is wearing an army uniform, more specifically an ROTC uniform. Any idea how to get this look for the uniform? its kind of a greenish grey but not uniform color....? i will be using fondant but not sure on how to make it look all splotchy like this

I airbrushed some splotches of the green. Then I rubbed some splotches of cocoa powder. then I rubbed some white food coloring on with a paper towel. Just layers and layers of color until I got the look I wanted. The whole thing was done on tan colored fondant.
