Hi Everyone,

I am making a rainbow cake for my daughter and was wondering what is the best kind of food colouring to put in the batter? Do I need to adjust the liquid level of the water and oil?

Thanks for your help... I am super excited to make it.

You can use liquid or gel. I just made some rainbow cupcakes and used the liquid kind. You don't have to adjust anything else because you are only putting a few drops of food color in. I divided my batter into 6 small bowls and just used 4 or 5 drops per color.
