Do You Have To Keep Giant Cupcake Candy Shell Refrigerated?

Would you keep it in the fridge until serving? I'd like to take that into consideration when I plan the rest of the filling and decorations.

Once the shell is made, chilled and out of the pan, I put it on a paper plate and set it aside to come back to room temp and then store it at room temp. I use empty ice cream buckets to store them in, but I don't seal it completely tight, but leave the lid slightly open on one side. I also keep it in a cool area of the house in the general vicinity of one of my window a/c units in the summer, and in the coolest room of my house in the winter.

I haven't had any problems doing them this way. Hope that will help you icon_smile.gif
