hi, i have a questions i need help, if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it. after i take fondant out of a mold do i apply it straight away onto the cake or do i let it dry first? thank you

I think that would depend on if you need it hard or soft. If it is a big mold then soft is better then it can hug the cake and bend to fit the cake. If it is small it probably does not matter. If it is a butter cream cake the molds should stick fine either hard or soft. If it is a fondant covered cake soft fondant will stick better but if you need it hard either add a little gumpaste glue or royal icing to the back to make it stick. if i need it hard can i stick it to the fondant covered cake using water? thank u for all your help

raniafayed, yes you can as long as the decos are small. Bigger, then melted white chocolate or r/i . Something larger on top. then yes water will be fine. hth
