Hi,
Is there any shortcut of making cookies n cream frosting using a boxed butter cream frosting? Has anyone tried mixing oreo crushed in duncan hines b/c frosting?

Im not sure what buttercream you will be using but I buy the oreo CRUMB pie shell from walmart and mix that in with my homemade icing. I use the oreo CRUMBS because they are finer than the chunks and if there are big chunks from just crushed cookies it will be hard to smooth on the sides of the cake. HTH!

i crushed oreo cookies and mixed it with pilsbury white frosting because i ran out of my buttercream and it was a hit!
