I need to make a waffle cake..but I am stuck to how to make the top of the waffle. If anyone can help....thanks....

My first thought is to use a waffle maker and imprint the fondant with it (that is, if you're using fondant). Do you have one? If not, Walmart sells them pretty inexpensive.
