Tutorial For 3D Teddy Bear Covered With Fondant

I have put on my fracebook page a photo tutorial for covering my 3D teddy bear in fondant.

It is in French but there are almost no words and facebook offers to translate for teire users!
I will be glad to awnser your questions and I an opened to suggestions: it is my first tutorial!

Hi, Thanks for the tutorial. The bear is so cute! I am going to buy this pan. Did you have any issues baking in it? Did you use the heating core? Did you have to do any carving? Thanks.

Hi Kathy,

I did a doubble recipe of some chocolate cake I have and I was scared I would not have enought! When It cooked I raised and overflowed in the cooking cone in the middle of the mold and everything was perfect!.

I had trouble removing the cake from the cooking cone so I reduced it in "cooked cake grinded" as for a cake pop and mixed it with some chocolate buttercream I had from a previous cake and all the comments I had was " what's in the middle it tastes sooooooo good"! It also helped me repare my cake that I had siting on his back for the night in the fridge and that cut by itself in the middle of the belly icon_twisted.gif

What is a baking core icon_redface.gif? I am sorry, my firts language is French although I can do pretty much anything in English , can you post a picture? I used the 3-D teddy bear mold from Wilton whit a home made recipe for the "easy cake release". It cooked 1h10 at 320F.

Details are or hand made with fondant and writting was painted with diluted black cake coloring in some vodka.
