my mil wants a cake for her square dancing club 29th anniversary. I know she thinks my cakes are way over priced since she buys from walmart. she says im crazy for pricing cupcakes at $2 each. so im going to have to keep this cake as simple as possible, no fondant but still cute cause its advertising for me. dont want too much work in it since she wont pay much more than ingredients.

needs to be a quarter sheet cake.

theme is blue and silver with the theme moto as wine and dine were 29 but with a square dancing look.

i usually go all out for cakes with sculpted cow boy boots etc but her budget wont allow for that.

any ideas?

A very fluffy ruffled can-can slip and a bolo tie? The can-can could be piped blue buttercream and the bolo tie could have a silver slide.
