Hi, a friend of mine wants a dungeons and dragons cake lke this for her husband,I am going to make the dragon out of rkt, but do I need some kind of internal structure to keep him together when travelling etc. It will take about 40 mins to get to the party venue and I have visions of his head / tail cracking off. Any help much appreciated, I was thinking maybe chicken wire covered in florists tape?

Hi,

If your dragon is going to be laying down like in the photo. You really don't need any internal structure. But, if your still worried, you can put wooden dowels/skewers into the head after you form it and then attach it to the body. You can do the same with the tail as well.

Agreed. I made mine and only used a dowel to hold the head on the body, but because it was laying down, everything was compact enough that it stayed together with no problems. It traveled 2 hours, over both highway and dirt roads, and arrived fully intact and secure.
