Hi guys i was wondering if anybody can help me out here. Im making a hennessey bottle cake and im having a hard time deciding what kind of cake to use that will hold and not be a mess. Its going to be a 3d bottle and i was thinking on using POUND cake or SPONGE cake???? The customer does not know what flavor she wants but she said it could be Vanilla. So If anybody can give me any Tips i would really appreciate it!! Thank you!!!

Hi,

I swear bye the WASC recip here on CC. I use it to carve my cakes. It holds up really good. Its dense enough for carving and at the same time, moist too. You can also change it to different flavor, if someone wanted a chocolate cake, it could be done icon_smile.gif
