Hi does anyone know of a good chocolate flavoured sugar cookie recipe? OR I have a great vanilla sugar cookie recipe and wondered if I can just substitute cocoa powder for some of the flour or would it be more technical than that? Please help!

Thats what I have done before, just swapped some cocoa powder for the flour and they came out great.

Cant remember how much I swapped, bit of trial and error I suppose

I've made these. Not sure if they'd be classified as a sugar cookie. But I did roll, cut and decorate.

I've made both and both are good. Martha's cookies don't spread. Joy of Baking's does a bit as it has baking powder in it.
