Posted this yesterday in the cupcake forum...thought I'd try this one out too...

I recently tried a unique decoration/sprinkle on a cupcake... it was like an individual white chocolate covered crisped rice. It looked exactly like a sugar pearl....I was expecting a hard crunch but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was much softer in texture. They were almost perfectly round and were a variety of colors (pink, green, yellow, black, blue, white, red) I'm not sure if they come in multicolors or if the bakery mixed an assortment from the solid colors.

Any idea what these are called and where to buy them?

I tried calling the bakery but didn't have much luck with any info.
