Covering A Cake In Modeling Chocolate??

Has anyone every covered a cake in modeling chocolate? Is it much different than covering a cake in fondant?

I did...and it was a PITA! Granted I was having major issues with my counters being ice cold, the pasta roller being ice cold, my hands being ice cold.... You can see it here:
