Scared About A Pan I Just Bought...

I had to buy a 12x17 jelly roll pan for a cake next week. First of all, that is a tough size to find. The pan I had in the kitchen was too big. So I went out this evening and bought this one:

I am scared to death about this pan buckling. I read that for Calphalon's other bakeware, apparently the cookie sheets and jelly roll pans warp and buckle. I couldn't find any reviews for the specific pan I bought, but their Classic line has mixed reviews. I need it for a sponge cake that needs to be baked at 450 for about seven minutes. This is the recipe:

According to Calphalon's website, the pan is safe up to 450 degrees. I was wondering if any of you had tried this pan or this recipe, and if you have any advice. If a pan warps or buckles, is it useless?
It's too late for me to order anything online and I doubt I'm going to have much luck finding a better one in my rinky dink town. Any advice would be welcomed!
Thanks,
Annie
I used my Magic Line 12x18x3 pan and it worked perfectly. You don't need a jelly roll pan. I got mine from Amazon.
